Wipe down
bathroom fittings daily with soapy water while they are still warm. |
 |

Since 1991
everyone who works on gas appliances must be "CORGI" registered. (Our
registration number is 19304) |
 |
"THE
INSTANT SERVICE PARTNERSHIP" is quite happy to carry out a low cost safety
inspection if you are worried about a gas leak. |
 |
Check your
building for draughts and insulate when necessary to improve efficiency and save you
money. |
 |
All
Businesses, whether employers or self-employed persons, who
undertake gas work on fittings supplied by natural gas or Liquefield
Petroleum Gas (LPG) must be registered by law with CORGI. |
 |
It
is important that gas appliances are correctly installed and
regularlly checked. This will ensure they are working
effectively and will also guard against the dangers of carbon
monoxide. |
 |
Do
not attempt to DIY with gas. Gas-related work is covered by
strict regulations that say you must be competent to carry out this
type of work. Not only are you breaking the law you are also
taking an enormous risk with your life and that of your family and
neighbours.
Always use a CORGI registered installer for gas related work. |
 |
Regulations
require landlords to have gas appliances they own in properties they
let checked for safety, by a CORGI registered installer, once every
12 months. If you live in rented accommodation you should ask
your landlord for written proof - landlords are legally obliged to
keep a record of the safety checks and to show it to you on request. |
 |
To
confirm whether a business is currently registered, ask your
installer to show you a registration certificate or if in any doubt
ring CORGI to check on tel: 01256 372300 |
